Our manufacturer let us know late last week that they would need to delay shipping until this Friday the 17th July.
So we now expect to receive the first shipment next week.

Just a quick update today...
We just had an update from manufacturer...they are currently planning to ship out the AnyBeam standalone projectors to us on the 10th July at the latest, hopefully slightly before if everything goes to plan.
We are still waiting on a solid confirmed date on the Dev Kit and RasPi HAT, however we anticipate this will be July / August. We will keep you updated when we know more.

We have some more news to share with you in a brief update today...
We will be locking down the addresses on BackerKit next Friday the 15th May at around midday UK time. If you need to check or update your address, please go to https://anybeam.backerkit.com/ now and ensure your address is correct. If it is not, you should be able to update it any time before we lock down the addresses.
We will be shipping in June/July for the AnyBeam, and in July/August for the Dev Kit and HAT. So if you plan to be moving house around this time then please let us know. We will put out a further update before we are due to start shipping so that you can make sure it goes to the correct address.
We forgot to share this with you before, but we have updated the splash screen on loading and the waiting for connection / no signal screen to make them look a bit nicer and to be a bit more useful.

We will hopefully shortly have a more accurate shipping date which we will share with you as soon as we have it. As well as this we should have the final guides, packaging and sticker designs which we will also share in a future update.

Just wanted to post a brief update to keep you in the loop now we have some more information.
The big question we know you are all wondering is - when will we ship! As you will likely be aware, we have had a few delays in the manufacture which have taken a lot longer than we thought they would to resolve (predominantly with the menu translations and other adjustments we have made to the prototypes since we launched the campaign).
In any case, things have progressed and we are now moving ahead nicely again. On that note, our current shipping schedule is as follows:

At some point over the next month, we will lock down the address details in BackerKit. We will let you know about two weeks in advance of locking these down, however if you are able to do so please go to https://anybeam.backerkit.com/ now and ensure your address is correct. With the current world events that have occurred over the last few months, we are sure you are wondering what impact COVID-19 has had on the project. The main issue has been the delay of around two months in production lines in China when the whole country was shut down. This has had a knock on effect with delays in stock arriving of pretty much all of our own-brand products - meaning a hit to our cashflow as we haven't been able to receive stock and fulfil distributor orders during this time.
However, our business has fortunately not slowed down that much, and now the stock is starting to arrive things are starting to ease up a bit for us.
We will obviously keep monitoring the situation and if anything changes we will let you know.
